MTM organic cotton doubleface sweater knit - camel

From Mind the Maker of Denmark, this is a fantastic organic cotton blend doubleface with a unique texture on each side, both so wonderful. The right side is a 1x1 ribbed knit stitch, soft and smooth but visually rich with texture. The reverse is a very fine plain knit stitch with an enticing rippled texture, very similar in appearance to a finely woven double gauze. The two layers are knitted together and cannot be separated. This fabric is stable, but has about 10% give in the width only. It is opaque and medium weight with some body in the drape. It has a soft hand and while it is substantial, it is not dense or heavy. The color is camel (PANTONE 17-1418 is close) with a matte finish. This fabric is Oeko-Tex certified and uses organic cotton, assuring non-toxic fibers, chemicals and dyes. Perfect for a cardigan, jacket, pullover, tunic, sweater dress or skirt, etc. Hand wash and lay flat to dry.
